Anyway, the SD card did move inwards a tiny bit so somehow it was in the spring mechanism. Except that the spring mechanism wouldn't actually eject it outside of the card slot on the device. I'm a little disappointed by the quality of this slot as well. It shouldn't work about 60% of the time. It should work all the time!
